Kutturan CHamoru Performers – began in 1993

Cultural Song & Dance Workshop

What began more than 30 years ago as a family group representing the Mariånas Islands to include: Guam, Saipan, Tinian and Rota, has grown into a vibrant cultural foundation. Founded by Regina Atoigue Quenga and Glenn Bernardo, the Kutturan CHamoru Performers was established to share and celebrate CHamoru traditions at cultural festivals and universities across Southern California.

Over the decades, the group has flourished into an award winning cultural dance ensemble that not only performs but also serves the community through education and cultural preservation. Their artistry has reached audiences around the world, with performances in Guam, Mexico, Samoa, and beyond always carrying the spirit and pride of the Mariånas.

In partnership with the City of Long Beach, the Kutturan CHamoru Performers invite you to experience CHamoru dance and culture firsthand. Join their tuition free dance workshops every Sunday at 2pm (except holidays) at the Homeland Cultural Center, located at 1321 E. Anaheim Street in Long Beach, CA.
